Nelson City Council presents the 2012 Nelson Arts Festival

The Nelson Arts Festival has a proud tradition of bringing the best and most innovative theatre, music, dance, cabaret and writers to Nelson for the past 17 years.

The festival is a flagship Nelson event that has proven its ability to attract audiences, and engender a vibrant springtime spirit in Nelson.  

The Nelson Arts Festival programme is a  Nelson City Council run event aimed at the wider community on a not for profit basis.  Additional funding and sponsorship is required annually from funding agencies, local business and individuals who compliment the purpose and culture of the festivals and seek to align with Nelson Festivals’ professional integrity and inspiring creativity.
