Canadian born Australian based singer-songwriter Garrett Kato is one to watch. His music comes from his heart and soul, his voice effortlessly gentle and soothing.
At the age of 23, Kato relocated himself to the beaches of Byron Bay, Australia, and it was there he was spotted by platinum recording artist Pete Murray. Since then, his captivating performances have seen him sharing the stage with the likes of Bernard Fanning, Jack Johnson and Pete Murray.
In 2015 Kato released his second LP, That Low and Lonesome Sound, to much critical acclaim. At times the recording evokes subtle images of a younger darker Springsteen with moments of lush beautiful instrumentation from the likes of Bon Iver and The War on Drugs.
